There are threads that dangle, unsatisfied, between thought and form. Frayed edges of something that’s still searching for its shape, a narrative not yet fully understood, a gesture hanging in the air, unresolved. Loose Ends—a space where the untold lingers and the unsaid expands into space, where everything is still becoming, never quite finished.

Loose Ends

There are threads that dangle, unsatisfied, between thought and form. Frayed edges of something that’s still searching for its shape, a narrative not yet fully understood, a gesture hanging in the air, unresolved. Loose Ends—a space where the untold lingers and the unsaid expands into space, where everything is still becoming, never quite finished.

For its latest open call, Déréal Digital invited guest curator Linda Zhengová—photographer, curator, and writer—who curated a selection of photographs around the theme. Published as a collective visual dialogue, this selection unfolds as a confrontation, a rupture, a space of suspended narratives and unfinished gestures. Together, these works draw us into the quiet unrest of the unresolved, challenging perception and inviting closer examination. Each image is an open question—an invitation to rethink, to engage with what lingers at the edges of clarity.

Selected photographers: Alyona Fedorchenko, Dario Maccariello, Axel Void, Caroline Ambonville,  Lisa Gervassi,  Julia Lê, Marie Le Moigne, Mykola Myronov, Thom van Hoek, Veronika Mol, Takumi Kishimoto, Julia Wimmerlin, Karolína Krepčíková, Iryna Kabysh, Lev Zlokazov, Pedro Patti, Teeratada Jungpol, Sergey Melnitchenko, DuoHan Longbow Zhang, Maksym Romenskyi, Li Biletska, Diana Fedoriaka, Irina Jigilo, Alnis Stakle, Natalia Poniatowska, Gloria Perović, Jose Lorente Rueda,  Tatsuya Maruyama
